Hotels to stay during daytime with boyfriend in Delhi.

My boyfriend is coming over to Delhi for 2 days and we are searching for a decent hotel (budget 3.5k/day). We both are 20. Though, we wouldn't be staying together for the night but were looking forward to spending our day time in the hotel. He is from outside Delhi and can furnish an ID, but I am from (and thus might be turned away). Safety is of foremost importance. I would like to avoid Paharganj, since I have heard that police raids are common and thus, hoteliers don't entertain unmarried couples. Please suggest the best possible options.

with your budget you can get decent hotels in delhi and maybe some 3 stars in gurgaon or noida....try to do some searching on the internet,if you are gonna book at least a week in advance you will get much cheaper rates, and yes try to avoid paharganj and hotels on the airport side...tell your bf to check-in alone and then you could visit him as a guest...the good thing in good hotels is nobody asks you anything that for what n who you are here for...

Thanks pal, I forgot to mention that proximity to east delhi/noida will be a plus and also some hotels do insist on meeting with the guest in their lobby/meeting room only(which is strange).

Ashb, here aer a few suggestions:

Hotel Mahagun Sarovar Portico

It is northeast of Noida. Is that too far? Sarovar Portico chain is usually very good , modern. This one is in your price range (3500 INR)

The two below are in Noida, prices are lower than 3500 INR:

Hotel Ginger East Delhi, Vivek Vihar

Red Fox Hotel East Delhi Mayur Vihar

Good luck!

The OP stated budget of 3500 inr/day. Both the Hilton Noida and Radisson Noida are more than that

i would not recommend the visiting 'guest' option. most hotels would actively monitor such visits. better option is to check in together.

Thank you so much all of you guys! I have shortlisted Red Fox and Ginger, and currently reviewing Clarks Inn and Mahagun Sarovar. Looking forward to a 'no hassle stay'.

i would suggest ginger. advantage is online booking & self check-in. but do check in together, instead of playing the 'guest' card, as then you have to go thru reception...

also keep in mind that ginger (& other hotels) have separate rates for single v/s double, all the more reason to book double instead of single+guest to avoid hassles.
