As you can see July I have moved your post to make a new thread. Your price range is not really in 'budget' class.
I haven't heard of Tourist Place - is there such an area, or is it just meant as a place where tourists go? Have you checked the Delhi hotels list in the Hotels section here on the Forum? You may find some suitable there. Hotel Swati Deluxe is one of the better hotels in Karol Bagh, but it would be a little cheaper than what you are asking for. If Hotel Imperial falls within your range, that would be a fabulous choice - it's near Connaught Place.

Imperial will be way beyond this budget, I think it'll start from Rs. 15,000 atleast....
At Connaught Place, in this price range, you may think of Alka Annexe or Hotel 55. Hotel Corus will be around Rs. 5000. Delhi now has many good B&Bs too, if you are interested may checkout them too !
