Hotel Tara Palace
Hotel Tara Palace
419 Old Cycle Market, Chandni Chowk Opposite Delhi Parade Ground It doesn't appear in the Indiamike hotel listings but gets top billing for a mid-priced hotel ($50/night) on Tripadvisor. Anyone stayed here, and is it any good? Is the Chandni Chowk area a good place to stay? Is Paharganj preferable for someone who wants to experience the hustle and bustle of Delhi? |

If you want hustle & bustle, there are plenty of places to experience that.
Pahar Ganj has 2 parts (that I know of). One is the main bazaar and the other is the back part of the mb. The main is a long streeted section which runs from the New Delhi railway right through to the other end where buses arrive from various destinations. It's dirty and is drawing a less savoury crowd, particularly in the evening. Cheers Zoltan
