Hotel near New Delhi station

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel close to New Delhi station? It doesn't have to be a budget hotel. Something clean, comfortable and welcoming.

There is a good hotel next to the new delhi railway station in the 1000-1200 rs category called Ginger hotel, managed by the Tatas. The only problem is that there is no room service, but the standard is 3 star. I am currently in delhi and had checked out this hotel for my stay, though i managed to find alternate accommodation later.

I would also recommend Ginger Hotel. This is located at Ajmeri Gate within the New Delhi station complex. Online bookings are possible.

Hey,

Thanks! I'll make a note of that myself - Hotel Ginger. I've been wondering about upgrading my Delhi accomodations without spending too much.

But an Indian hotel without room service? This seems inconceivable.

Hey Melbourne beer-drinkers,

I won't be in India again until 2010, I'm afraid, so they've got plenty of time to sort themselves out and get prepared.

If you see Tim and Jody down there, tell 'em g'day for me. They just got married.
