Hotel Namaskar Paharganj
Hi,
HAs anyone stayed here recently , I have looked in the accomodation section and there are not too many recent reviews, so any input greatly appreciated, Rough guide to India mentions that they can be pushy RE tours but none of the IM reviews indicate this, I will probably stay here unless someone advises me different, Il be in Delhi in a fortnight and cannot wait... Thanks guys... |

The same thing I found in another comments that one hotel in Jaisalmer offer a room in Rs.250 , with aircondition and attached toilet and have also a swimming pool. How it can be possible and how they mitigate their expenses and get profit? So normally these type of hotel offer the tourists another services or we can say that these types of hotels run from another services and not on the room rent. Room rent is the basic attraction to grab the tourists. So think about the costing of a business, people are clever to attract the tourist by this way. Yes one positive things about Hotel Namascar that they do not book your hotels at any place and just sell you a tour with a car and driver. More interesting, all the drivers are freelancer or owner of the carand none of car belongs to Hotel Namascar. So you will be friend of your driver or will hate him after finish your tour with Hotel Namascar. Good Luck. |

Hotel Namaskar Car Tours
I am planning on staying at Hotel Namaskar when I fly into Delhi this month. I wonder, I am thinking about buying a short Rajahstan car tour from them. Has anyone done this, and would you recommend it?

I stayed there a coupla years ago and found them fine. Rooms basic and cheap, pick-up service (from airport) great for 1st time visit to delhi and no hassle. Having said that, i have now stayed in a fair few of the budget hotels in PG and have found them all to be very similar. One thing i do like about the namaskar though (and the ajay) is the 24hr check-in, whereby you pay for a 24hr stay e.g. if you arrive at 4am (quite common if flying in) then you are paying until 4am the next day, not just until the morning. |
