Neither near Nizamuddin nor near Akshardham......near new delhi railway station.......check out ginger hotel - was around 1000 INR in September.

Pretty good for the price......you can see on their website.

If you wish to stay near Akshardham you may stay at Hotel Solitaire on Vikas Marg....

If you can book Ginger for your desired dates, nothing like it....

Then you may take Metro upto Yamuna Bank for going to Akshadham...

As you come to the main road you will find a few hotels, they look like being in the Rs.1000/- range.
What do you mean by refreshing? The waiting rooms at the Nizamuddin station are quite clean. If you mean refreshment then there are clean eating options too at the station.

You can check out Rajdoot Hotel near Nizamuddin Railway Station. It is one of the expensive hotels which will surely fit in your budget.

Auto should take max Rs. 50 from Sarai Kale Khan Side. If you can survive in a crowded bus then there are buses also.

Station has retiring room, book early as they run out fast.
