Hindi Music

Hello all,

i am curious to know if there is any recommended venues to listen to Live Hindi Music in Delhi. also, i am interested in sufi music and would like to see it played live.

i arrive in Delhi in November '05, and have 5 days there before i leave for Rishikesh / rajasthan.

There is live qwaali singing in Delhi, at one of the big Muslim tombs -- perhaps Nizamuddin's, but check first as it's only one night per week.

When I was last in Delhi there were regular performances of traditional music (different types each time) at Nehru park, they were free too.
Not sure how you could find out about these though, other than checking in the paper once you've arrived.
