Help needed Specialist Doctors in Delhi

Hi All,

With plenty of guys here on IM from New Delhi, I thought someone should be able to help.

My mom has been asked to go in for surgery of the lower back vertebrae.

Any recommendations for top of the line orthopaedics/neuro surgeons in Delhi and NCR,

God's grace money no problem so doctor should be the absolute best in his line of specialization.

Thanks in advance..

Heard only good things about Dr. Ashok Rajgopal, including from close family. Orthopedic surgeon.

Unfortunately, last I knew, he was attached to Fortis, a hospital that I have had a very bad experience in- and wouldn't go again.

But you can see and decide.

Your embassy in Delhi will almost certainly have a detailed list. My doctor I picked off the list and now I go to his daughter's practice. I wish these people would stop letting themselves get old..

He did knee joint replacement surgery of my mother at Fortis, NOIDA... He is a very competent Doctor....

And somehow, we faced no problems at Fortis Noida, except their curfew hours....

Member DHans I think has pointed to this organization; I know nothing about them, but comes across as pretty reliable for at least referrals indeed: http://www.eastwestrescue.com/.
