good and cheap hotel in delhi
anyone knows of a cheap but decent hotel in delhi (not too far off the center?). the first time we came to delhi we paid 600 rs. for a little hole. now i need just a single bedroom so any suggestions will be most welcome.

Hotel "the spot" in paharaganj/main bazzar area was nice, it was a turning of the main road some of the drivers hould know it or the locals.
Room was spotless with tv for 300 rupees and that was double room. |

Hi the Star Paradise or its twin the Star Palace offer good cheap accomodation from 200 to 600 rupees. Both are on the main bazzaar Paharganj and only a 5 minute walk to the train station.

YMCA on Jai Singh Road in New Delhi...walking distance from Connought Place...in good shape, nothing too fancy but I was very conmfortable there, and a decent restaurant on ground floor
