Has anyone any experience of the above tour company? I'm looking to book a golden triangle tour with them and they require payment up front.

Advance payment is not unusual with tour companies, and not just in India. Most of them will ask for at least a large deposit up front if not the whole amount. The only tour company I've ever dealt with that did not require payment in advance was Namaste India Tours.
Since Go Delhi accepts payment by credit card, you will have recourse to reverse the charge if anything goes wrong. If you pay by traveler's check or wire transfer, you don't.
