Oh I did not think about that. Is that a possibility? Well right now I am not in India but plan to go somewhere in November.

We could get pulled up for unlawful assembly, disturbing public peace, blah, blah rules !!!

I don't know the nitty gritty details of Indian law but yes I am sure we can get pulled up. What places in Delhi come to your mind for FMob ???

Awtdt

Always Wanted to Do This Dept.

Just a few requests, if possible

Hoping the chosen song(s) won't include Bollywoodish songs on Delhi (or other Indian city) streets...! There's enough of it on Indian TV - imho. There are plenty of cool local language songs that are truly ROTFL...
hugely entertaining

Safety for women would also be an issue. Wet blanket moment, sorry, but someone did mention the Let's Take Back the Streets campaign earlier in this thread. Good point.

The details of the Indian law are that if the police want to beat you... they will.

I did a flash mob in Birmingham UK (bullring if u know it), it lasted about 4 minutes before security came and got angry and aggressive and we had to leave. All we were doing was 'pausing'. If its a problem in bham i imagine it could develop into a problem in india - especially if its a load of white guys/tourists - weird lol.
Its about the ppl reclaiming public spaces (i feel i should add a man here, as in the hippy saying not male)

We had one Pillow Fight Flash Mob in Budapest . Was fun, but I do not think we can do that in India.

India does not yet have the same paranoia that UK has --- although, perhaps, after the Mumbai events last year, it ought to have

If the security got angry in Birmingham, Delhi police will beat our asses red !

They also did a Subway Party in the London underground. Also check this out Circle Line Party

Imagine doing something like this in the Delhi Metro. We just can't do this in New Delhi.
