Great thread starter! We do allot of flash mobbing in San Francisco, I'm ready to hear about the first FM in Delhi!

cross posted with Mach: there have been some stunning FB's in Amsterdam, right? The "Sound of Music" comes to mind!

Yes, I think in its early days it was quick to catch on here in Amsterdam (or possibly even semi-invented here? No idea, but it's that kind of place. If it had been, it would have been together with SF no doubt

), but other than that I don't know too much about it, it's a little after my time, cough.

I'm certainly very sympathetic to the concept (sort of like a sixties "happening," isn't it -- which, btw, was decidedly before my time); one sometimes feels why not throw in a few political demands and some impossible manifestos & generally kick up a fuss though.

That is, however, arguably and decidedly my generation that I'm coming from

We just wanted to smash the cistern & all that, remember.

But in short and with regards to the above, sure, I'd love to hear from one in Delhi. I think there have already been Reclaim The Streets actions in (several locations in?) India even.
