few hours in delhi

Dear Friends

I need urgent help.

I am reaching Delhi Sarai Rohilla from kathgodam in 4.30 am on 7th November ,2009
and have a plane to catch at 6.30 pm from IGI for kolkata.I will be accompanied by 4 elder persons and my wife.
Can anyone suggest what to do for the day or where to stay for 4 hrs get fresh and visit some places in delhi.

Sheesh in spite of living in NCR I have no clue. One way to look at Delhi is to hire a taxi and see the major monuments that way it would be less tiring.

Since you are arriving early at 4:30 AM, best is to hire a economy class hotel room for a day say at Arakashan road and get freshened up, then you can hire a taxi and do siteseeing.

Read "evening plane" instead of "night train" though !
