early arrival Delhi
Hi
My flight from Sydney to Delhi arrives in Delhi at 2.15am on Monday September 15. Any suggestions would be appreciated for where I should go/ or do at that time of the morning. Maybe that's the best time to see a particular tourist spot - eg a particular market, or a particular temple on a moonlight night, ...? I had then planned to travel on to Lucknow/ Benares. Any suggestions?. Many thanks. Tony |

Markets will be shut as will most monuments, plus i am not sure on whether you should be sightseeing Delhi that time of the night either..
When do you leave for Lucknow?

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Good advice to be cautious in Delhi at 2.15am. I guess we could go straight to the railway station and make arrangements for Lucknow for a brief stopover, and then on to Benares for several days. I'll probably not spend any time in Delhi since I was there twice last year for several days on both occasions. Regards Tony |
