Hello,
We are meant to arrive in Delhi (from Canada) at 3:45am and then depart for Leh at 5:45am on the same day. Therefore we have only two hours in between our scheduled arrival and our departure to Leh. How to get from International arrivals in Delhi (arriving on Qatar Airways) to the Indian Airlines departure terminal? Do we need to take a taxi to another terminal or is it at the same terminal? Thanks so much for your help! |

The question will have been asked many times on this site, so search around for it. They are not the same no (but not terribly far apart, several kilometers though, and there should be transport), although I don't know the airport's current layout. (Well, assuming you need to change terminals at all, I can't tell you that.)
If doable in your time I don't know, looks like (heavily) cutting it, no matter what terminal for that matter. Be aware flights to Leh can get canceled at last notice due to weather conditions. Also and more importantly perhaps, international flights are notorious for getting in late. If at all possible, I'd look for a later flight to Leh that doesn't cut it as close, say a day later or so. (May I ask how did you get by this close connection at all? If some agent at home sold you that, you should severely poo-poo them I think, and demand a more realistic connection. To me, this would hold up most anywhere in the world really, I mean have you observed how long getting off a plane at all can take, and how punctual they are, and they in fact quite naturally can't be, there are too many variables getting in the way. If you planned it on the web yourself that way, that is your business of course, you just may have been a little optimistic about it.) Check also http://www.newdelhiairport.in/ (I find this site sub-standard, but oh well, it is the official one.) http://www.toandfromtheairport.com/delhi.html (last updated Dec. 07) ps If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you'll find a listing of "similar threads." Opening any of those will again feature a list of similar threads at bottom, and so on and so forth. It's an easy way to navigate the site. Those listed below here are mostly about Mumbai (there's one on Delhi), but again if you search on through them this way, you're likely to find threads on Delhi as well.

there is a shuttle which runs (not sure of frequency) between the 2 terminals , you could take a taxi as well..at that time of the day you are looking at about 20 minutes driving time
