Diwali
I understand that Diwali is 17th Oct in Delhi. Is that the first or last day and what does anyone recommend doing on the day ?

It's Middle of the 5 day celebration... But it's the biggest celebration...
You can wander in the markets and see the frenzy there.... In night put on ear plugs and enjoy the fireworks...
