Delhi: What's a fair price for a day long city tour?
How much would i be expected to pay for a full day 9 to 5. All the sights included etc.

If you have your hotel arrange a car tour it will be around 700 rupees. Maybe slightly less but shouldn't be any more.

I am thinking for a single person in smallest vehicle. If you wanted cheaper you can also get it arranged in an autorickshaw but with the volume of traffic, dust pollution etc. nowhere near as comfortable as a bus tour or hired car.

autos can be cheaper but delhi was just too hot for me. could't really handle the traffic. so ac car was the best!
but if you are you ok with the heat, auto is good ![]() |

OP - if you are coming to Delhi in December, January or early Feb. you won't need a/c because these are the winter months. But also there is a heavy smog at these times so as chinmayie suggests a car where you are less breathing in the pollution might be better. Same with the bus.

i was looking for some delhi city tour too.. read this forum n saw a few people recommending a tour agency - http://www.namasteindiatours.com/
I havent use them b4. You can book a car for day tour and the driver is usually the guide but he wont go into the sites with you.. It's Rs 700 per day for a car.. |
