Delhi train bookings

Hi
Can anyone give me some help re. getting from the airport to Sunny's hostel (as tired as...) then attempting to get a train booking to Bikaner ASAP...am coming back to Delhi to fly out so can't afford time both ends. Would appreciate any help ....
maybe there is an easier way of buying train tickets than queing forever (still remember Russia).
cheers kivik

I'm planning to buy my tickets online before I arrive in Delhi, hopefully it will be a lot faster to just pick them up than to go through the whole process upon arrival.

There's another thread here which helps - online rail booking

When are you going?

If you arrive in the daytime, or are in the airport until 4:30am, take the EATS bus from airport to the airline office at Connought Circle -- Sonny's is five minutes away. Go to Janpath and ask someone for Scindia Lane and it's just past Ringo's. (Map in LP is pretty accurate).

If you're ready to leave the airport before the bus starts running in the morning, then a pre-paid taxi to Janpath will work -- but there are all those driver scams.

Or, you could book an airport pickup from http://www.namasteindiatours.com and make life easy for yourself.

The New Delhi train station is about 10 minutes' walk from Sonny's so easy to pick up your tickets there

We can also receive tickets that people have bought on line and bring them to you if you book us for an airport pickup.
