Delhi to Lucknow

Hi guys...I am arriving at IGI on Jet from LHR at 9:45AM scheduled time. I need to catch a flight to LKO; my choices are 1:15pm or 3pm; which would you recommend? How long would it take to clear customs, immigration and transfer to the domestic terminal?

Also, where do you guys recommend converting currency? at the airport or is there any good money changer near the airport?

is there a HDFC bank near the airport?

thanks!

You can make the 1.15 flight...at that time of morning, immigration & customs clearance will take approx. 1 hour + max 30 minutes to the domestic terminal. So, unless your incoming flight is delayed, I do'nt see much of a risk. For currency conversion, you an use any of the dealers at the airport, they all charge approx. the same spread.

My two rupees is that you probably want to take the 3 pm flight. Then again, I'd rather be safe than sorry - after all, it's only another 2 hours to kill, and I'd rather not worry about whether or not I'll be missing my flight the whole time.

Perhaps that's because I think it'll actually take longer to go between terminals (it took me a bit over an hour), and you can't control how quickly or smoothly things operate in India.

Other experts around?

You can go for 1:15 PM flight but if you have no extreme hurry why not opt for peace of mind by going for 3 PM one.

The usual connecting time between flights is about 2 hours plus.
The transfer from IGI to domestic doesn't take long since they are interconnected.

If the arrival is ontime, 1.45 p sounds like a plan
