you need to get down at ramkrishan ashram station and its 10mins of walking distance from there........reach metropolis hotel (quite popular) take left from there and on the left you will find sitaram

Thanks Deeps, especially for the map...Now I guess I have got it spot on...some where in the opposite lanes of the Kashmiri Naan Waala...

Every time I tried to find Sitaram's, I landed up at some Gupta ji Chhole Bhature, that is more towards the NDLS...anyways it was always crowded and stuff was lovely..

I've had nimboo pani post-midnight at Ganga Dhaba on the JNU campus under the stars. The ambience is amazing!

Went to Swagath (Defence Colony) last night...my friends who are non veggy's loved it, however I was sitting there trying to figure out what to eat....

Found it to be average in vegetarian stuff...but yeah, happy hours didn't harm a lot..

I fully agree with you. There are half a dozen places that serve better kababs.

I am not from DEL but whenever I go there, I make it a point to go to Nizams, CP for Kathi Kababs and Bengali Sweets for Pani Puri.

Cold coffee at De Pauls and Milk Shake at Keventers are also great.

I am sure I would be on the wrong side of a lot of people with this one...but however legendary Paranthe waali gali had been, its not even a shade of what we used to hear today...

The stuff you get there is overrated, overpriced...

Far better paranthas are served at roadside joints at Shivaji Stadium in CP and Opposite hotel Vikran near moolchand...

These Paranthe waali gali people have opened outlets in other localities now. I tried a place on Vikash Marg and wasn't impressed.

Moolchand parathan is an old institution. Another one used to be near AIIMS. In the olden days when late night eateries and take outs did not exist these parathawalas kept us nourished after late night movies and concerts.
