Delhi subway
Hi,
during my last visit to Delhi the subway wasn't yet ready. This time I'll stay in the Maidens Hotel and it looks like it is near the station "Civil Lines". Is it true? Another question is if the arrival point of the interstate buses at Kashmiri gate is also near the metro station. |

I am not sure about Maidens hotel, but if its in civil line, then it got to be near the metro station.. Kashmere gate is connected with Metro..as are New Delhi and Old Delhi railway stations..you may visit the link below for more information..just remember Civil Lines is on Line 2.. http://www.delhimetrorail.com/commuters/index.html |

And remember that in Delhi, "subway" means a pedestrian underpass and "metro" is the new train system. Mixing those terms could cause some unneeded confusion!

Hey Paanwallah, When I was in Delhi last summer I also stayed at the Maidens, and it was pretty close to the station Civil Lines. It was very convenient and very clean and comfortable. |
