Delhi station or H Nizamuddin
How far is H Nizamuddin station from Surajkund?
I have booked into Hotel hillview near Surajkund. I do not know if it will be better for me to go to Delhi station and then make way to Surajkund or do I get a booking for H Nizamuddin station. Please do advise me. Thanks.

Surajkund, being towards south to delhi, Nizamuddin will be a better option. Also, dont know whether you are referring to Old Delhi Station or New Delhi Station. Old Delhi is definitely a bad option. Suggest you book for Nizamuddin Station.
Nizamuddin is about 20 km away from Surajkund and New Delhi railway station is about 25 km away from Surajkund.
Only a few trains stop at Old Delhi Railway Station. All trains stop at New Delhi Railway Station.

Heres a map of Delhi. All three stations are given in this map. Hope you find them. If not, PM me, I'll let you know.

Brother, where it says Badarpur in the bottom is where suraj kund is (some 2km SW of that). Donno if you've travelled in Indian trains before, but you could get down at Tughlakabad station and catch a auto (would be 3-4km from there max).
What happens is that trains from south don't get free track/signals, so they make unscheduled stops at smaller stations like Tughlakabad. The trick is to get off if it stops well enough while waiting for the green signal. If you've not logged some six-seven trips on Indian trains, just wait over till Nizammuddin and get off like normal.
