Delhi neighborhood for family
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to come to India with my spouse and two young kids (ages 7 and 4) for a month in December 2008. We plan to rent a flat for the month. We want to be kind of close to things to do (shopping on Connaught Place, walks near India Gate etc), and therefore don't want to stay in Gurgaon or Noida, but also want to be in a relatively calm neighborhood with some play areas. Can someone recommend a neighborhood to stay in? Thank you! akvg5 |

I would highly recommend GK2, stayed there for 1 year, its a great area but expensive, we paid Rs35,000 a month for 2 bed flat.

Ignoring the difficulty of renting (normally) for a month, and the budget (though have not recommended any exhorbitant areas like Jor Bagh etc) some possibilities
Defence Colony, Jangpura Extension near the flyover Nizamuddin West Hauz Khaz |
