Question Delhi: Looking for a sunday-open optician

Hello to everybody from Germany !

We will arrive at Delhi Airport early in the morning on Sunday. All we have to to this day is a 100 km trip with our driver to Neemrana.

We thought about new glasses, so we are looking for a good optician in south delhi (not very far from airport) where the opening times include sunday. After 3 weeks, we will be back in delhi to pick up the order. Enough time to produce very thin high quality glasses with about +7 and -7,5. At the end of our trip we have just 2 days in Delhi again, I am afraid this is not enough time for an order.

Thanks for your suggestions!
Ingrid

Rather than going to South Delhi, you can look for a optician in Gurgaon area..

it wont be a diversion from your route to Neemrana..as you have go through Gurgaon itself..

Thank you,it may be on the way to Neemrana.
But at the end of the holiday we travel from Surajgarh Fort to Delhi and our hotel is in Friends Colony...

I found an optician named http://poh.in/main.html at Green Park, but I canīt find out if they are open on sunday.

many major markets in Delhi are open on Sunday, instead of Sunday they settle for a weekday as an off...not sure about Green park though..

If you are in friends colony my suggestion would be to head to Greater Kailash...specifically the M block market. M block market is open on Sundays and boasts of 4-5 opticians, the better ones are Dayal and 17 Arcade.

Dayal is located near Pizza Hut and 17 Arcade near "prince Pan"... you wont have any problem finding the place if you remember the landmarks.

Take care

Sidharth
