Hi there
On our way to SE Asia in September, we would like to spend 5 days in Delhi and Agra area. Is it a good idea to go (since it's the end of the monsoon season)? Or should we skip it? How is the weather going to be? 24h rain? Sorry it's maybe a super stupid question, but since we've been never to India, we are wondering if it makes sense to travel during the monsoon season. Thanks Tinka |

September is a fine time to come to Delhi. It'll probably be transitional weather, which means maybe there will be a few showers, but those cool the day off nicely. September is not a no-go month for Delhi, it should be fine.

Tinka,
This is pretty obvious, but it's worth stating that the October-end of September will be more reliable and pleasant than the August-end of September, so if you can book your visit for later in the month it's a good idea. Otherwise you should still be fine, it may just still be pretty warm in the beginning of the month. |
