Delhi in September

I am planning a trip to India - covering Delhi, Agra and Jaipur in the middle of September. I would like to know what kind of weather to expect during that time of the year. What clothing is suitable?

This is a great time to go. It will still be quite hot, though - up to high 20°C during the day but cool enough at night. Light cotton clothes will be fine, but take along something for cooler conditions at night, like a thicker shirt.

You might still get a few sharp showers from the monsoon sprinkling, and the sun will certainly be powerful. For these reasons (and not at all to irritate rab ), I'd suggest taking an umbrella, or buying one when you are there. An umbrella will work as a sunshade as well as excellent rain protection. If you're not a brolly person, then a good hat is an idea.

MT -- I presume you meant "high 30sC" -- 20 is what we have in San Francisco on a warm day! <g>
