I'm a bit worried that it's going to be so hot i can barely move!!
Yeah its unbearable. I'm in Delhi and am planning to get out around that time. Night life, maybe, but then what's the point coming down to India for just that?

April - June are the hottest. Monsoon comes in July. Unless it's being weird thanks to global climate change.

However, I'm sitting here right now in my rooftop apartment with only a fan and it's pretty bearable. April (before the cooler was fixed) .. i didn't sleep at all. But now I'm not even using the cooler.

That being said, stay in the AC during the day. Tons of movies to watch right now - go to PVR Priya and enjoy :P
