Question Delhi in June

Hi there,

I am flying into Delhi on June 7th and plan sto stay a couple of days. Does anyone have any advice what to see and do in Delhi at this time? Also, is the heat extremely unbearable or is it do-able?
I'm a bit worried that it's going to be so hot i can barely move!!

In case you got Sunday in between chill out in pool at Aqua, The Park Hotel and house music rocking the place.
Pm for more if you want. Its for free.

When I was in Delhi in June, one year, it was around 45C. Every afternoon it would drizzle for about 15 minutes, just enough to drive the humidity up. I couldn't move very fast, or very far.

A month later, I was in Afghanistan, where the temperatures were similar, but there was no humidity -- it was somewhat more comfortable. We slept during the day and sat up all night -- or until the electricity went off.

Which year was that in wonderwoman? I would have imagined that June is usually dry in Delhi, that July is when the monsoon sets in. Yes, the humidity created by a little rain can only make the heat that much more unbearable!

Stay indoors from 12 noon to 5 pm. Or spend time in the big malls for some serious people watching. These are all centrally a/c and popular with Delhi's citizen.
Ansals Plaza, Select, Ambimall and Great India Place are good malls.
Early mornings you can visit Delhi's gardens like
Lodhi garden
Nehru Park
Talkatora
Hauz Khas village

Oh, those little drizzles weren't monsoon, they were just a plague sent by Lord Yama, to keep us uncomfortable.

It was June of 1973; I remember it very well.

Delhi is very hot say the temp. around 40 Degrees and above, but it is always possible to do sight seeing at this time also since you have option of using comfortable A.C vehicles to move from one place to another.

Wonderwoman - wow that was all of a quarter century back. And unfortunatey since then El Nino was born and has metamorphosed into a climate changing demon {not without human help }.

You should avoid to use rikshaws if possible because you will stick to your seat like glue after 5 minutes
