Delhi Hotels

Hi,

I am looking for mid range hotel in Delhi (up to around $100US). I will be arriving around 6am so I will be looking for something relatively quiet (quiet for Delhi), satellite tv, private bath. Helpful staff to organize a trip (ie purchase train ticket or hire private car) to Agra would be a plus. Hotel suggestions in Agra would also be appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Wow! I know they've renovated but I was getting a quote of $90.00 in 2006 for single - is that $295.00 quote through a local Indian travel agent? or Internet Rack Rate? Fodor's rate on their review (2006) was 5500rps - 8500rps (through Expedia I think which is still high).

Any Indian travel agent want to clarify a rate?

hey Palox,

I was in paharganj area in january and I would not suggest you go there, unless you want a cheap room close to the train station. Paharganj is "unique" on many ways, but can be chocking ,dirty, polluted with lots of hassels. It is not what many people want, when they just arrive from a long air plane trip.
