Delhi hotel close to Airport, Railway and Rail Museum?

Hi can anyone suggest a reasonable hotel 3* and above that is not to far from the airport, but within easy reach of the Train station so we can get to Agra, and within easy reach of the Rail museum, as I have never been to Delhi before, any local knowledge would be very helpful

Hmmm...you might be in for a hard time. The rail museum is sort of halfway between the airport and delhi railway station - so there isn't really any hotel that is close to all three. Its about 30-45 minutes from the airport to the rail museum (depending on traffic of course), and then another 20-30 minutes again from the museum to Delhi railway station. Best bet is probably to get a hotel either near the railway station or connaught place. Check out the accommodation posting in this forum for tips/ recommendations. Happy travels

The Sheraton is near the rail museum but more of a 5-star. A scooter ride to the Metro from Chanakypuri would not be too bad.

I was a tiny bit disappointed with the Railway Museum. Didn't seem as nice as on a previous trip (about 10 years back) and some things were not being well maintained. Still worth a visit, just a little disappointing since given their collection it could be a great museum.
