Delhi Hotel - Ashok Country Resort

Hi,

I'll be visiting India next week. I'm reaching Delhi on9:30 PM and catching flight 6 AM next morning. Could anyone please tell me what is nice place to just kill night and take few hrs of sleep?

Someone suggest me Ashok Country Resort near to airport. How is this one? I need something near to Airport ratherthen spending time in commute from Airport to hotel and back to Airport in morning.

Any suggestions please....

my friends stayed here and recommended it for a quick-overnight-near-the-airport. as such, i plan to do the same for a late-evening arrival from the US and following-morning departure domestically. a single "club room" - which seems to be their standard room - is high, at $135 US, but other options i looked at seemed a bit scraggly or obscenely expensive. the $135 includes breakfast and airport transfers. a double, i believe, is $155US. (www.ashokcountryresort.com) they said they'll greet me at the airport with my name on a placard. based on what i've read on this site about whjat it can be like dealing with that virgin arrival experience, it seemed a good idea.

one caveat - i had trouble getting promt responses from the hotel by email. probably best to follow up with a phone call.
