Delhi.. Good hotel to Check in about 12.00 Mid night
Hello All..
My Flight from Chennai to Delhi is scheduled to arrive to Chennai around 23.30PM and I will need to go to Delhi Station to catch the Delhi-Kalka Train on 7.10 AM. Can any body tell how can I spend the time between 12 mid night to 7AM. I prefer to get a room near to the New Delhi Station, because it will help to avoid the delays due to traffic jam. How much it will cost for a Taxi to the New Delhi Station? and what are the good hotels (yet Cheaper to stay 5-6 hours) near by the station? Thank you for the help. -Nish |

Opposite the station there are several hotels in the start of Paharganj area. I think all would be open for checking in at that time of night - most Delhi hotels have 24 hour check in. Also at New Delhi station I think there are retiring rooms - some of our Delhi members may be able to help you with this. This would be the cheapest place to stay.

A taxi will cost you around 300-400 or so. You can also look at CP as an option which is right next to the station as well but i dont have any experience with any hotel there ...

I dont know your price range but I am staying here in Hotel Ajanta which is quite close to railway station.
Double room is 1200 plus taxes They have free pick up from Airport so you save taxi fare.  http://www.hotelajanta.com/about%20us.htm |
