Delhi domestic airport - ISBT - chandigarh, some updates !

FYI

1.There is a DTC bus that runs from delhi domestic airport to ISBT with just 2 stops in between [ confirmed by the shop owners at the airport exit ]
This bus is supposed to come every 30minutes however i waited for 45-50 mns & still there was no sign of the bus.

So dont wait for the bus

2.Never take an auto standing just in front of airport.
Come to the road where all prepaid taxis pickup their passengers [ ie: in front of the airport ] > take a left & you will reach the arrival point where you can only turn right. There are some autos standing near the round about. Take the auto from their. I am not sure if you can take the luggage car till that point.

Recent auto fare from domestic airport to ISBT is 100 rs

Time taken is around 45 minutes

3.Delhi -chandigarh volvo now costs 415 rs & leaves at 6.30pm.

Other timings are around 8pm & around 11pm [ please confirm with haryana roadways at 2961262. I found this number on the internet ]

Does the Delhi/Chandigarh Volvo have any scheduled stops where it picks up passengers either way?

You are welcome captain.

If the seats are already filled at ISBT then NO
If the seats are not filled they only pick up passengers from where they stop for food break.

Was examining options as I sometimes travel to a village off the highway, close to Ambala, but this is too iffy.

I have been going for many years to a small village about six miles off the highway where some of us run an orphanage.. if you folks don't mind, I would not like to advertise it here.

I normally drive down, was looking at options is all.
