best thing to do is to take the dehli tourism guided tours

1. City sightseeing tour - 9 am to 5.30 pm 250 odd rupees - A/C bus

2. Delhi by evening tour ( Thu & Sat ) - 6 to 10 pm again 250 odd bucks

Mr. Verma,
Thanks alot for the reply towards my qurrey. Yes I am from Delhi, it will surprise you that Delhi is my birth place and I live in south delhi and Qutub Minar is on my way but I never visited there. I have heard about the places you suggested to visit but I never been there. And also I don't think there is any thing special to experience. Few of the destination I could not understand i.e. IIC,IHC,KARRIM'S,JORBAGH,THE BOOK SHOP, THE MUSIC SHOP & YOUR HOME.
Well I need this information to give some informative and enjoyable visits to my kids 9 & 5 years old as they have their summer vacations.
Over all thanks for your kind avdise once again.
God bless you.

It all depends on your fields of interest, but I'd like to add the National Museum, the observatory Jantar Mantar and, not only because you're in the South, the beautiful tomb of Humayun. I have visited the Qutb area and the Humayun tomb, and next time, I'll devote one more day to just those two.

anyways someone drop some lines here for the following..

1. i arrive in delhi at7:15AM sunday

3. for that i will have to go from the airport to the pick place(most probably cann. place)
4. having done the sightseeing i have to board a bus to Manali the very same evening

is this possible... i feel it is...but how do i manage it? specially when am alone and have three items of baggage to take care of......

i will be able to peep in again tomorrow evening...before i head to the airport here...any help before that wud save a lot of time and nervousness of this poor soul

it sure is possible to do the delhi tour & catch a bus for manali the same evening - tho I wldnt do that coz manali is a good 14 hr overnight journey - sometimes even longer. So doing such a long journey after a hectic day sounds pretty scary to me. anyway only u know ur energy level so plan accordingly. probably u cld just see akshardham & a few other spots in a hired taxi!!
