Hi
I am flying to Delhi from Chennai and I will be reaching Delhi Airport at 7:25 am. I want to board the train at H NIZAMUDDIN train station at 9:20 am. I want to know
1) what time it takes to reach the train station from Domestic Airport?
2) Which is the best mode of transport and how much is it costs?
3) Also which are good budget hotels close to any of these 2 places.

Well I hope all goes exactly according to the timings for your plane arrival,voyager. You should just make it, maybe.. By the time you get your luggage, then take a taxi (quickest form of transport) and allow an hour to Nizamuddin - morning traffic will be starting - you will probably be running for that train!
Might get it though, a bit close for comfort IMHO.
Taxi definitely - only way to go fast.
If you are thinking of staying the night and catching the train the next day - budget hotels can be found by checking this Delhi Forum - make a search within this forum for 'budget hotels'. You can also go to Hotels in the top red bar, and look under Delhi.

I wouldn't do this. The visibility isn't very good so your flight may land late. Even if your flight lands in time you will be out of the airport by 8:15 or 8:30 after collecting your baggage. It will take you minimum 20 minutes to buy a taxi coupon so you won't have enough time to reach NZM for your train.

Thank u. I have rebooked 11:30am train. Hope I have now 4 hours inbetween. Guess it would be fine. And the train station is New Delhi (NDLS), what is the time to reach this station from Domestic airport and what is this station name/called?
