I pay 50rupees for mine here, but honestly it is so easy - place the comb and then snip around the bottom! Ladies' hairdressing is always more expensive then men's, no matter which country.
Defence colony market is just across the main road from where I stay so even closer then Central Market Lajpat Nagar 2 so will take a note of your suggestion, puchoo. Many thanks.

Had to dig my map out to see the name of what I call a main road - it's Lala Rajpat Rai Path - and where I stay in Lajpat N.2 is a minute's walk away from here - I cross over and then walk straight up a minor road opposite and in less than 10 mins. I'm in Def.Col. Market! Very handy. If the weather is too hot e.g. when I was there in late August, I catch a cycle rickshaw. But it will be the first week in December (very shortly!) when I'm next there, due for a good haircut and nice cool weather I think. Great for walking...

Hello! I am about to travel Delhi to Kathamndu overland in January (on a tour). I would like to get hair extentions on my trip. Can anyone suggest any reasonable places to get this done? I will also be going to Agra, Orccha and Varanasi (if these places are better)? Many thanks

Well went to Harry and Shanti, Defence Colony, yesterday and had a haircut, no shampoo only spray dampening. A straight around cut for 300 rupees! I was a little shocked because I was expecting less than 200r. On the wall is a notice and yes, hair cut is 300r. It was an excellent haircut btw and definitely better than my Jaisalmer 50r. one. The salon is spotlessly clean, very trendy and I guess we pay for that!
