Decent Hairdresser in Delhi
Hello!
I'm dying to spruce myself up a bit before heading home after 10 months on the road, so was wondering whether anyone could recommend a decent hairdressers (I'm willing to pay for quality!) in Delhi that are used to dealing with foreigners/can speak english etc etc?? I heard maybe there was a L'oreal salon, but can't find info. Don't consider myself a particularly vain person, but have had a few horrors in the past in cheap places. Many thanks in advance! Hairdressers
I regularly use the Lakme salon in New Rajender Nagar which will be a not too long autorickshaw drive from ND Station. I get my hair done there and happy to give directions if you are interested.
The 5 star hotels will have hairdressing salons and there is an expensive one in New Friends Colony called something like ravissant - let me know what you are looking for and I can try and help.

There are loads of nice salons all along Hauz Khas Green Market. Just take a rick there and take your pick.

Bumping this thread again because I would like an answer too! Either a hairdresser (ladies' one) in either Lajpat Nagar or Defence Colony (my hair is not difficult - just a straight around cut) or some South Delhi area not too far away from Lajpat Nagar. Other option would be around Connaught Place area.
I'd be most grateful for suggestions, have noted Habib's in Khan market, but have a feeling maybe expensive?

yep
Defence colony just got one the most popular hair salons in Delhi. Called Harry and Shanti , the place has been open for about 6 months now and is located in the Def Col market.
My wife and all her friends swear by this place.. and from what i recall was not too expensive either...think about 150 - 200 rupees for a cut.
