Cool stuff/counterculture/avant-garde
How is the modern arts scene in Delhi? The youth culture? Are there any bohemians? Artist colonies? Experimental cinema/music/multimedia?

Hi T Joseph and welcome to India Mike! Sure, there's a flourishing alternative art scene in Delhi! I can't give you much info, but someone here will surely come along to tell you more. Meanwhile you could take a look at fortnightly events in the Delhi Time Out magazine, here's the online version:

Mumbai would be the place with the biggest art scene and cultural hub.But Delhi wouldn't be far behind :-)

I guess Delhi is big on the Art Scene.
TimeOut Delhi gives a very good insight among the happenings of the month in Delhi in Art. India Habitat Centre & Siri Fort etc are places where there is something happening everyday.

You just missed the OSIAN Film Festival which ended in New Delhi yesterday. It's an annual event.

T Joseph, a nice place for you to visit will be, College of arts at Tilak Marg near ITO (Nearest Metro Station Indraprastha)...
Another good place is Triveni Kala Sangam at Tansen marg May visit National Gallery of modern art also....
