Cooking Classes in Delhi

Hi! I really love Indian food and would like to learn Indian cooking. Unfortunately most of the cooking classes advertised are very expensive....I called up the Chef Cuilinary and they charge Rs.750-Rs1000 per course with a total of 40 courses being taught per month!!!! This is way too expensive! Someone help please!! I want to learn how to cook good Indian food. I am looking for a place in Delhi ( probably accessible by metro) and which can teach me all the cooking within Rs.1000-2000 PER MONTH. Please reply here if you know any places. Thanks for all your help.

I have seen advertisements of neighbourhood ladies holding cooking classes. Check out the local dailies.

Thanks for replying. I would really appreciate it if someone cud give me some tel numbers regarding where I could learn cooking. Please....I really need help. I really want to be the best cook that I can....I have been spending my time in cook books but I really need some classes and practice! Please help me ! Thanks a lot.

It would help if you indicated areas which is not too far from you. Delhi is a big city.

Have you considered asking acquaintances/neighbours?
