Connaught Place Renovation?

If any of you remembers Delhi way back in 1982 when the city saw its sudden flush of developmental activity, as the capital hosted the Ninth Asian games... this time the skyline of south-east and east delhi is set for a makeover, due to the building boom in progress with 2010 as the deadline. The metro line will connect the airport with the city center and all the important suburbs like NOIDA, Faridabad and Gurgaon. The airport itself will have the terminal 3 ready as also a new landing system that can work on foggy days.

Central Park in CP is open to the public from today.
It is built on top of Rajiv Gandhi Metro Station, from where commuters can travel to Old Delhi, Delhi university, East Delhi's Shahdara and north-west Delhi's Rohini.
The park has a water cascade, fountains and a walking trail as well as an amphitheater.

I've just seen a few photos of the new Connaught Place, such as on wikipedia and it doesn't look too bad at all!

Have the renovations finished, or are they still yet to be completed? What do you guys think of it? I'm looking at you Delhi-ites.
