Clothes sizes - Delhi
Hello,
I am a quite a large person and would like to buy some Indian clothes for my holiday. Does anyone know of a shop in Delhi where they would have larger sizes kurtas and pajamas? Alternatively, do you think a taylor could make them quite fast? We will only be in Delhi for two full days. How much approximately would it cost? Thanks a lot for your precious help. All the best, Thierry Brussels, Belgium |

Try at Khadi Gramodyog at Connaught Place, next to Regal Cinema, (but I think they have temporarily moved to Baba Kharak Singh Marg, 200 hundred meters away, next to the Coffe House).
They do have big sizes. |

Kurtas at Khadi Gram Udyog, CP, Delhi
Hi Thierry,
Greetings from India ! you can buy khadi kurtas styled by Rohit Bal or Malini Ramani (both very famous fashion designers in INDIA and Abroad) from Khadi Gram Udyog (Govt. Owned )for a mere Rs. 500 (approx. USD 11 ) ... i hope lots of INDIAMIKE members knows about it... http://www.fashionindia.net/reviews/...discounted.htm as far TAILORS are concern yes they can make your Kurtas in 2 days ... but i still vote for readymade. |
