christmas in delhi!
 Greetings and thanks so much to everyone who has been so busy posting and sharing info! On November 30th, I'm flying into Delhi - I'll be there a few days before heading south to the Drepung Gomang monastery near Hubli. On the 19th, I'll be back up at Delhi, and will stay through Christmas, meeting a friend who's coming in from Japan. Neither of us has traveled in India before - what kind of Christmas celebrations can you recommend? I was thinking about visiting the Taj Mahal that day (and after reading many warning posts, I do know not to spend any extra time around there!). Can anyone recommend a really terrific Delhi restaurant for a fabulous holiday meal? Thanks for all the help! -carol |
