Hi. Is there a direct bus route linking the airport with the railway station? Anyone know what number it is?

Couple of questions : 1. Which Airport : Domestic OR international ? 2. Which Station in Delhi, there are numerous stations and major ones being Delhi, New Delhi, Nizamudin, Sarai Rohilla. Which ever airport or station, I would advice you to hire a cab, it would be much more convenient and hassle free. |

Travelling between the international terminal and new delhi station. I know a cab would be more comfortable, but investigating other options, as not sure I'd agree with the 'hassle free' bit.

Point taken. I am, of course, being optimistic, and after a nine hour flight, the last thing I'm going to want to do is get the bus, but thought I'd at least make the effort to find out about alternatives.

but still I wont recommended the same as they, unlike Taxis, are not regulated at the airports and would fleece you at first given chance... and secondly and more importantly they are not allowed to pick up passengers from airports exit..so to get an Auto you have to actually drag your luggage for 5-10 minutes out of the airport area to actually get hold of one..and after that all the haggling and stuff... so unless you are a regular..its not recommended... |

There is an airport bus service that goes to Connaught Place -- it stops near Palika Bazaar and the airline office; from there it's a short walk to the station -- or there's a prepaid taxi stand there at Palika Bazaar and you can probably get someone there to take you to the station.
