Talking budget guest house in Delhi and RishKish

Nameste, I stay at Sunny Guest House in Connaught Circle. Off the beaten path and kinda dumpy but it is quiet, has nice breakfast and chai in the morn, plenty of hot water and is in an alleyway next to a great fruit/juice stand and a great local restaurant. It is listed in India travel book by Lonely Planet. I was paying 300 rupees per day. In Rish Kish I don't remember the name of the lodge but it was across the last bridge you take with the german bakery at one end. Down about 6-8 blocks on the river side with a computer cyber shop right next door. It was nice for about 200 rupees a day. Only had about 10 rooms but was quiet and had river views from the balcony. Best of luck finding this place. There is a young tout who most likely will find you looking as he works the dirt road and rents out bicycles about 1 block from the lodge, and is always looking to make a commission taking travelors to lodges. Happy trails

hi

welcome to indiamike alia.i would suggest that u might find a suitable accomodation in rishikesh for 300/500 rupees but in delhi its very difficult and even if u find one then they would not be safe for a single female.so i would say to increase ur budget or find some one to share ur expences.bye.
