Can you recommend a place (or an area) offering reasonable budget accomodation in Delhi? Preferrably NOT in the Paharganj area and ideally with airport pickup.
What is a reasonable price for a double room (A/C not required) and what should the pickup cost? Cheers, [dzekyl] |

Ramnagar is another budget accommodation area, supposedly slightly upmarket and not quite as many hebrew signs as in Paharganj... but it is just the other side of New Delhi Station. Last year the Hotel Ajanta organised room and hotel taxi to meet me - Rs1100 total, but depends on the room style you want. Another popular market area, Karol Bagh has many good medium range hotels, most of which will offer airport arrival pick up - you will need to do a net search to find something suitable. Kia Ora. Dil.
