Best way to get a legitimate taxi from the Delhi train station to my hotel

Let's see, the auto was somethjng like 40 rupees, just fine by me. I did have to ignore about a million touts to get the ticket from the prepay counter. But I had been warned, so I kind of chuckled my way through the melee.

Yup, that's right. But it was a good place to get some R & R for me, a first time India traveler.
