Bar with pool/snooker table in Delhi?
Anyone know of a place to play pool and have a few beers in Delhi?
Anywhere, any price considered, I'm staying in PahraGanj (sp) for next couple of days. Thanks |

Hmm...u r hinting at 5* hotels....nearest would be Park at Barakhamba Road, CP for drinks by pool side.

Last year I saw a really sketchy pool hall in CP. It's on the outter ring. If you walk down Chelmsford to get to CP, make a right at the outtermost ring. You will find the pool hall in a block two. Hopefully it's still there!

Here's a few I found online.
Djinns, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Bhikaiji Cama Place. A huge bar, pool table, darts, live bands from Europe and the Caribbean, innovative Indian snacks and pitchers of beer and cocktails. Packed on Wednesday and the weekend with the Delhi jet-set, so get in early. No entrance after 11pm, even though it stays open until 2am. Radisson, NH8, Mahipalpur. The sports bar at the Radisson (near the airport) is a great bar to kill a few hours if you are waiting for a plane– there are four top-notch bowling alleys, billiards and snooker, nonstop TV coverage of the match of the day, and lots of beer and cocktails Yahoo travel's descriptions, not mine. |

Sorry to hear the Delhi belly struck again, oh no...Saw a travel doco (Pilot Guide North India) this weekend and the commentator seemed basically sick all the way from Varanasi to Leh. It was a useful guide though.
