Arrived in Delhi
Hello to all Imers!
Just arrived in Delhi for my first trip to india. Still haven't seen much because i was not supposed to be in Delhi but in Kolkata instead. Air india cancelled our flight and got us in a virgin atlantic flight to delhi and with a supposed connection flight to kolkata. Still he have be waiting in indira ghandi airport for 5 hours and still don't know when we will get a flight. Still... First impression of what i saw!! VERY GOOD! Everybody has been very nice, though not very efficient. Mosquitos do go around... I hope i get this situation solved fast in order to describe the real india to all IMers. Big Hug from India! So you haven't seen anything other than the inside of Delhi Airport yet? Oh dear!

Nick, if the man ( ricgabriel) is happy DESPITE seeing the insides of IGI Airport, I'd say he is more than prepared to handle Delhi...the city of joy ( calcutta ooops kolkatta) may be a different ball game though!

aaah Delhi
I would suggest to you mr. Ricgabriel:
Take a ricksaw to Paharganj and stay a few days there.....you will not regret it....it's one big adventure. After that arrange your trainticket to another adventure maybe bigger adventure called Kolkata  Don't stay in that depressing airport one hour more, there is more to explore  |
