Arrival without prebooked hostel

I'm arriving late to Delhi just to change flights onwards to Leh. But I've heard that flights to Leh are unreliably so now I'm a bit worried about arriving in the middle of the nights just to be informed that I'm stuck in Delhi.

Where would you find a hostel in the middle of the night? Can you recommend any?

Thanks alot

Hey man,

Sorry I don't have a direct answer, but methinks you can check out the Intl youth hostel in Chanakyapuri. They are good, cheap and you can even crash in the dorms. For more info, check LP - its the bible even we Indians use

If your just after an ok room for the night without booking, I'd say goto Anoop or Hare Krishna, or one of the many siter hotels in Pahargunj, they are all big places catering mainly to the isralies but they have 24hr check in and often other 24hr sevices, cafe internt ...
You can find them if you look on the internet.
The great thing with these if your not booking is they are afiliated with many other hotels so if they themselfs don't have a room they will find you one. Also they are well used hotels so most taxis will no how to get there so you don't need to worry about the Don't know were it is lines.

or you could take a cab to Karol Bagh, which is a commercial aerea plenty of hotels (all range), and closer from the airport. There is a metro-station on the neighborhood, so you can go almost everywhere fast&clean .
