Are Delhi hotels reputable?

I will be staying in Delhi for five nights. I am considering two hotels.

One is "27 Jorbagh," which is near Lodhi Garden.

The other is "Hotel 55," near Connaught Place.

Does anybody have first-hand knowledge of these hotels? Are they decent places to stay?

And, if they both are reasonable places, would anybody recommend one over the other?

Thanks so much for any help/advice!!!

Last time I was in Delhi,
I looked at a room at the hotel 55 and decided it wasn't too clean, and overpriced for what it was. I did meet a couple who stayed there and thought it okay. I stayed at the place across the street- Hotel Ashoka, next to the good south indian restaurant.

I haven't been there, but hotel 55 was one of the hotels I considered.
At the end I didn't book there since it was expensive (I wasn't looking for the cheapest place I could find, since it was my first time in India, but H 55 had western prices, more or less).
When I was in Delhi, I saw the building, and it's in a very noisy and chaotic place. (connaught place, in one of the big streets)
